Since my birthday is in a litle over a month, I have been thinking about getting older. I turn 30 this year and its kind of a depresssing thought, but I was watching this old movie last night("The Secret of my Success" with Michael J Fox) that made me think about where I am and how getting older doesn't have to be THAT bad. There is this scene where Vera and Brantley are talking and he says something to her..."you know what your problem is? Someone told you that you have to be 21 forever. You believed them and that's crap!" Anyway, the point is, women (and people in general) should be allowed to get older and not get penalized for it. It's something I'm going to have to think about and make peace with, becase like it or not, I am gettin older and there is nothing I can do to stop it. And if all else fails, I can use a stratey that has worked pretty well in the past... remember that there are others in my life that are older than me. Ha ha ha.
I have decided that I realy want to become a Slumber Party rep in my spare time. No, it's not necessarily a career choice for me, since I still really want to be a Clinical Psychologist. However, it would be a great way to make good money and hopefully someday get that flexible schedule I really want. So, I have decidded to go ahead and do it. So, I'll be singin up and gettin my stuff here soon. I even have my first party booked already. :)

You guys are such a cute family! I knew Josh in high school and he is a great guy! I happened to find him on facebook and that is how I found your blog. As I was reading some of it, I thought I definitely identify with alot of things you say. You guys seem to have a great life together and enjoy each other, even after 9 years!

Did you say you work in the hotel business? What do you do? I have worked with Marriott for over 10 years and was just curious.
