Anyway, This mornings tryouts were from 9 AM-12 PM. She said that they did stretching, learned a dance and then had to perform it, and then they had to show their floor technique work. She got to tryout in the same group as her BF taylor and was glad for it. I picked her up at 12 PM and she was really nervous about how she had done but was confident she did everything really well.
The girls played around a bit while Kristin, Anita and I talked for a while.
After we left, all we had to do was wait since the teams would be posted by number at 9 PM MST. lol.
I logged on at 8 PM and checked to see if anything was posted early. it wasn't. I checked again at 8:30P and at 9 P and nothing. I was annoyed and Tiff was anxious, but I told her I would check it again as soon as we got home. At about 9:15PM, we checked again and it showed the tab was there but nothing posted. I kept refreshing the tab every minute to see if it had been updated yet. Finally at 9:28PM, the updates showed...and....
SHE MADE SENIOR COMP TEAM!!!
She (and I) was speechless for a minute. She couldn't believe it! She bumped 2 levels. LOL! Not 1 (which had been ther goal) but 2 levels. CONGRATS TIFFY!!!! You worked so very hard for it and you definitely deserve it. Goes to show what all your hard work can do and has accomplished.
There are a couple people from her class who didn't bump and are upset (as there always will be) but oh well. She is sad that she won't be in the same class as some of her friends, but she is excited to learn new stuff. Even though she is nervous about her new team mates, she will make new friends and have fun regardless. I am excited for her. After she found out, she was out like a light. She was pretty tired from staying up late to find out her results. She is a funny girl.
