Josh and I drove down Saturday morning from Boise to OR to get Tiffy picked up from her grandparents. We got there aroun 11AM PST and when we got there Tiffy was SOOO excited to see us. It made me smile just to hear her voice. Since we were taking Maddie and Brynlee back with us on Sunday, we we supposed to take care of them too for the weekend.
We decided to go out to the Bowlby Festival that the town was having since both of her grandparents were there at their own booths. We looked around, got root beer floats for the girls, did some of the events, got them all bracelets and new shirts. All in all, it was pretty fun---other than the extreme heat. Man, was it hot!
After the festival, we went back to the house and cleaned Helene's house since it was a disaster and had been totally thrashed from the 7 kids there that week. We made lunch (a healthy one) and then put the girls down for a nap. Josh and I were really tired too, so we took a nap as well. We all got up around 6:30P and then went to dinner.
We went to this local joint in town and had agood time all chatting.
Afterwards, we all went for ice cream at this place where the cones are .25. Very cheap! We went home and put them all to bed when we got home where grandpa Bob told them all a story.
Before we went to bed, Helene emailed me 121 pics from "Granny Camp" that I could check out when I got home. Yea!
The next day, Josh and I made the LONG drive back home. We dropped Maddie and Brynlee off around 4:30P and finally got home around 5:30P. We were glad to be home.
