Park City Silly Sunday Market

Park City has this market that they do every Sunday during the summer. So, before it ended, we decided to go up there. Jeanie needed to get some tops for the cruise so we went to the outlet mall. While we were in a couple stores, Josh took the kids to play.

We checked out all the little booths, sampled some lotions, tried homemade ice cream. We were going to take the kids on the bounce houses, but they were about to tear them down when we got there. Bummer I know.

Because the bounce houses weren't an option, we decided to take the lift up to the top and ride it for the pretty views. It was very pretty for sure.

There was a weird part where the grass/weeds were really green. You can't totally tell from the picture but it was like a neon green. Very cool.

As we passed, we could tell that some people had gotten pretty crazy and started taking their clothes off and throwing them into the trees. Tiffy thought that was "SOOO WEIRD!" LOL!

Anyway, it was a fun day and a great way to kind of end the summer.

September 11

Today was a weird day to be doing a bunch of stuff. none of which included thinking about the trajedy that occurred in 2001 (the year Tiffy was born). I suppose its strange because we always think about it. It was such a huge event that most people can say exactly where they were when they found out the news. I had never had an event like that of such global proportions in my lifetime. So, it was interesting to have one- even though it was such a horrible event. Anyway, we were busy yesterday so we just didn't really have a chance to think about it.

I attended a baby shower for my friend Angela who is having a boy. It is her 3rd kid and they're calling his middle name Trigger. LOL. Weird I know, but it suits Alton who is a police officer and way into guns. I think it also has something to do with the way he was conceived, but that's not been verified. LOL! Anyway, I think its cute for them.

I was going to have a photoshoot but it was cancelled unexpectedly for a family emergency. So, we decided to go to the Utah State Fair while it was still on. Usually, we are rushing to get to it before it ends. So, it was nice to catch it at the beginning for once. We looked at some of the different booths and KSL had one to encourage reading. Josh and Tiffy both did their "schpeals". It was funny.

We went over to the Radio Disney section and played a couple games. There was a dance contest and Tiffy won the contest and won a Camp Rock 2 Blueray/DVD combo disk. The winner was picked from the best dancer and also the one who looked the coolest doing it. I had hoped that she knew that that meant to use lots of facials and "feel" the music. She did! LOL. That's my girl! Anyway, we all thought it was pretty cool.

While at the Disney booth, we found out that Mitchel Musso was going to have a concert that night at the fair. So, we got tickets to go. We hung out for a while and got some food and checked out some of the other cool booths. Tiffy got this super cute sarong that's "belly dancing" style. She loves it and plans on bringing it on the cruise. LOL. Right before the concert started, we went and got our seats. We got her a copy of the CD which she was really excited about.

She was so excited to see the show and it was funny seeing her have so much fun at the concert. She was definitely WAY into it.

It really is a joy to see someone having so much fun. It was funny, people would look over when she would scream and they would just smile. I mean, how can you not? It makes you happy to see kids enjoying themselves like that. Watching the video just makes me laugh so hard. LOL!

Vacation Planning and side stuff

Weare ready for our vacation next month. We have planned the itinerary, booked the hotel rooms, and have the plan ready to go. We went to get some "Cruise" clothes yesterday. It was a fun way to spend a day with the family. Tiffy got some really cute dresses. I got a couple dresses and a couple tops. Josh got a few tops. So, other than a few minor things....we are ready to go.

On another note,. I am starting to get really busy with photoshoots. I have 3 this week. Hopefully that transforms into an amazing portfolio with lots of leads.

Also, I just found out that my sister said she will for sure come to my brothers wedding...so yea! We will be seeing her in a few months in November. I miss her a lot.

Children's Garden at Thanksgiving Point

Yesterday, we decided to get together with Josh's brother Isaac, his wife Nicole and their 3 kids. We met at the Children's Garden. As you first go in, there is this HUGE Noah's ark where the kids can play in the water. There are lots of fountains and water shooting out of the ground. The kids played there for a while and had a lot of fun. I didn't know how much water there was, otherwise I probably would have had Tiff bring her bathing suit, but oh well. At least she was in shorts and able to enjoy.

After, the water play, we went walking. There was this cool centipede that the kids got to play in.

There was a cool rock section that looked like a "hobbit home". LOL.

Next, we walked for a while andthere was a huge koi fish pond that was really pretty too. there were lots of tall corn and etc around the area as well.

We came upon this mini lighthouse that the kids could climb up to and see out of. There were windows up top that they could peek out of. It was actually pretty neat.

We walked a bit further and we found this big cave area. The kids had a "cave" section where they could climb into and out of. There were like 3 different escapt hatches and etc. They had a lot of fun playing there.

There were different "discovery stations" on this walking section that was a bit more rustic. Lots of shade and very pretty.

There was a big sand box area that the kids checked out.

There was an "indian fjord" that Josh, Isaac and the kids all played in. I swear, the 2 boys are just as childish as the kids are sometimes. LOL. It was pretty funny to see them all playing. What is it about building things that guys love. LOL!!! Either way, it was really funny.

After that, we decided since it was over 100F outside, we would go inside and get some lunch. It was good for everyone to get together. I think thatwe are all so crzy busy with our day to day lives that we never seem to be able to find the time to be able to get together and I know Josh and Tiff really enjoyed it.
