Final thoughts about the cruise...

The cruise was a lot of fun and there were a lot of different things to do. There was bingo, and game shows, and trivia, and ping pong, miniature golf, the gym, the running and walking tracks, pools, hot tubs, and of course shows every night. Comedy shows, dance shows...all different kinds. AWESOME!!!

At dinner the first night, we took a fun video clip. You can see how excited we all are. Dinner was right about the time that we were on our way out of San Diego.

One of the shows we went to was this marriage show- to see how much you know your spouse. We wanted to do it and participate, but the way they picked the group for 10-20 years of marriage is to see who would makeout the hardest in front of all. Yeah, that SO doesn't happen! I don't believe in PDA's and refused to participate. I sat down. LOL. Personally, I think making out in public is beyond crass..but that's just me. Anyway, it was a fun event. We will definitely want to do another cruise at some point in the future.

Ensenada

On Thursday, Josh and Coby wanted to go to Ensenada, so Jeanie and I hung out and tanned while the guys went into town.

In ensenada, they went to a museum.

They did some shopping, and saw some cool pots, but they didn't buy them cause they didn't want to have to lug it around all over.

They went to this prison museum.

They also went into this old church.

They went shopping in the market.

Josh said they saw this guy on the street making this art work withspray paint. They said he made the painting in about 10 minutes. Pretty cool.

Before we pulled out of Ensenada, we saw some seals right outside our cabin balcony.

They went to a bar and had some drinks but made sure to not have too many drinks. LOL. They wanted to get back to the boat. The guys got back right around 4pm.

Cabo San Lucas

We got into Cabo on Tuesday morning. It is really pretty. Josh was up early and went out onto the 10th floor deck and got some video feed just as we were pulling into the Cabo area.

We didn't have any excursions planned- we just wanted to hang out and tan and chill as a family. So, we did just that. We went to the pool, hot tub and just layed out. It was pretty quiet on the ship so it was great.

It was pretty cool to see all the porter boats out waiting for the people to come on in. LOL.

CRUISE!!! ~ The overview

On Sunday afternoon, we got ready to go on our cruise. At 12PM, we left the hotel and got in line. When we were almost to the ship, we took a cute pic. :) Once we got on the boat, our room wasn't going to be ready till 1:30P. So, we went up to the Lido deck to have some lunch. We had great a great view from our room. Our stewards name was Rolly. Super nice guy! Gave us great towel animals everyday. At dinner, we got a GREAT seat and we had a lot of fun every night. We tried to take pics as much as we could. These were taken on Tuesday when everyone was gone to Cabo. LOL. One of the days, Coby and Josh played ping pong. The second night was formal night. After dinner, the 4 adults went to karaoke while we waited for one of the shows to start. There was this weird guy who brought a doll head. Psycho! We laughed pretty hard. Tuesday night, we went to the steak house on board. The attire on that was formal as well. Josh and I went alone and had a good dinner. The next day, we went to lunch in the restaurant (instead of the lido deck). It was a nice break to be served for lunch instead of buffet. Josh and Coby had played basketball so Josh was way red and blotchy. LOL. After lunch, Tiffy had a "talent show". Jeanie and Brieann came to watch Tiffy. Tiffy was a little stressed since she only had 15 minutes to prep for it, but I think she did great for the amount of time she had to prep and for not being allowed to do "tricks". She helped her friend Sierra at her "talent"as a comedian. She performed after her. The comedy show was a little hard to watch (so I edited the video clip so everyone doesn't have to sit thru that. LOL!).
Dinner was great every night. On Wednesday night, the kids got to dance with the servers. Our main server was David and he was from Peru. The assistant server was Kass. They were both super nice guys and we loved the magic tricks that David showed us every night. The kids loved it. Thursday night was the last night of dinner and during dinner Cayson fell asleep. We all thought it was pretty funny. We made sure to take pics with the guys the last night. At the end of dinner, the servers and staff danced and sang for us.
Before they actually started, David got a little emotional and almost started crying a little. It was cute. We got to know our servers and they got to know us. It was a lot of fun.
Right before we left, I took a cute pic of Tiffy in the glass elevator. We will miss the cruise!!! It wasa blast!! Here are a couple great group/family/posed shots we got on the trip:
