The Dentist

It seems like every time I go to the dentist for a checkup, I have “more cavities.” It really sucks because as a kid, I NEVER got a single cavity. Sigh. Oh well.

I had to go back to the dentist today and let me tell you, I hurt! It feels like the doctor aggravated my nerves or something cause my teeth hurt bad. It feels all swollen still and is way sore and it is not 10 hours since I had my mouth worked on. LAME LAME LAME!!!

Lesson to learn: take good care of your teeth and hope for good genes. Lol.

Family Fun

We decided we needed some quality time together. So, we went miniature golfing. We had a lot of fun and had a good time. We sort of kept score, but not really. It's better when we don't since we're all really competitive.

After we went golfing, we decided to play for a bit at the arcades.

Utah is weird!

Sometimes I forget how weird Utah is. I have lived here for quite a longtime, but that being said, I still forget how the weather in Utah can change on a dime. In most states, if you have seasons, then they are traditional. Here, in the spring, it can be sunny and 60F in the morning and 32F, freezing adn snowing in the afternoon. It's fine. It's not a big deal, but it is weird. LOL!

Lighter Hair

I've been getting pretty bored with my hair for now. So, I went in to Shannon and had her make my hair lighter. I can't go blonde without bleaching, which sucks, but what can ya do? So, she tried to go lighter. I think it turned out pretty good. Hopefully, I can go lighter with more time.

Train Ride

Every once in a while, I get a random idea. The other day, we went on a "train ride" at the mall. It was cute and the kids had a blast. Sometimes, less is more.

The park

Jeanie and I decided to take a walk the other day. After a bit, we decided we would take the kids to the park. We just hung out on the swings while the kids were playing.

Tiffany proved how buff she is by having the easiest time at the monkey bars.

What was funny is that these 2 guys came by and kept laughing so hard that we were on the swings. It cracked me up that they thought such a simple thing was funny. Like I told Stephanie (a girl I work with) the other day, "I'm amused easily".

New Moon

New Moon came out on the 20th and so on Monday I picked up my copy of it. I, of course, had to get it since I love the movie and the series. I texted Tiffany and sent her a picture to let her know. She didn't see the text until I was with her, but when she saw the picture she started almost freaking out and was like "you got the movie!? Oh my gosh!!!!" It was so funny and I just had to laugh. Then, when she was talking to me later, she was like, "Mom, I was like freaking out when I saw you bought the movie. I'm so excited!" It was hillarious! Suffice it to say, we saw the Movie that night.

GT Challenge Night

On Tuesday, Tiffany had GT Challenge Night. Each grade did a presentation, and the 2nd grade GT class did "Are you smarter than a 2nd grader?" It was cute. Cheesy, but cute. She was one of the students. She, of course, was the only one that knew her lines and said it like she meant it and not like "a line". It sucks that Josh had to work and couldn't see her, but it's all good. I taped it, so he can see it like that.

Dance, Dance and More Dance

Right now Tiff is spending a LOT of time working on her dances (Jazz, Lyrical and her solo). We have solo comp in 3 weeks and team comps start in 4 weeks. So, its kinda crunch time. I have to give her credit though, she works hard. It's a good thing she loves dancing so much.

Observation for Cheer

This week at dance, it was observation week again. When Tiffy had cheer, I came to see her. I really like seeing the improvement and seeing how technical she is. I am OCD, and so I love seeing the precision with which some things are carried out. LOL. It cracks me up that some of the things that other kids hate doing, because they may take energy to do, she loves doing (like the wheelbarrows).

Day with the Kids

Jeanie and Coby have been really awesome with helping us with Tiffany while Josh and I are at work. So, we decided to take the kids and let them have a day to themselves. We went to Best Buy since I've been trying to track down Season 7 of Bewitched. Yes, I know, I'm a nerd! I like that show though and it was the only season of the series that I was missing. So, after we didn't find it at Best Buy, we went to Barnes and Noble and luckily found it there on sale. Yea! Then, afterwards, we took the kids to Liberty park for fun. They were really cute and had a lot of fun. It's always fun to watch kids have so much fun. How can you not laugh or smile at that?

We also took a couple videos of some funny stuff...

After that park, we decided to go to the mall and see if we could find a couple things. While we were there, we had the girls take a ride on the carousel and we all took a ride on the train in the mall. I'm sure it was pretty funny watching Josh and I take a ride in a small train when we are so big comparatively but it's all good. We had fun, and most of all it was fun watching the kids have so much fun together. It was a fun day.
