May Day

Yesterday was May Day (a fact I had forgotten about until Tiffy brought it up and reminded me). Josh didn't have to go to work till 11A so we all hung out as a family until then.

After that, I decided I was bored and wanted to get out of the house. So, Jeanie and I decided to go out and take the kids to Wheeler Farm. We went to lunch at Subway first and fed the kids so they would all be happy.

Then, we went to Wheeler Farm. We went thru and saw the boutique booths they had for May Day. Then, we bought duck food and a wagon ride. We went over and fed the ducks. There weren't a ton of ducks out, but there were a lot of other birds out.

It was pretty funny when some of the birds started coming under the fence and running from the kids.

Afterwards, we decided to go thru and walk around and see the animals. The kids had fun time making noises at the animals and just seeing them. There was still a lot of mud out so we had to be careful, but it was fun.

After we saw the animals, we took our wagon ride. They all had fun with it.

After our wagon ride, we went to the mini treat shop they had and then left.

We then decided to drive around to see what other things we could come up with to do since it was still relatively early and we weren't in the mood to go home yet. So, we went to Borders and got books for everyone. Then, we went to Tai Pan Trading. We found a couple things that were cool. We were all hungry by then. So, we got some dinner and went to Coby's work to eat it. We also brought him dinner so he wouldn't have to eat his frozen pot pie. Have us all the "tour". It was a pretty interesting place with lots of electronics and cable looking dishes since they're the "backup" for different places. We went home after that since the kids were all tired. It was a fun day with the kids.
